Every Saturday in October, 5 or 6 of us from WOLC participated in Sidewalk Sunday School at Barley Court Apartments. We spent the month teaching the children to be heroes  choose Jesus! We talked of Moses', David's, Elijah's, and Daniel's faith. Each Saturday Morning we reached out to about 75 kids through crafts, Bible Stories,music videos, snacks and hugs.It is our prayer that we have made an impact on their lives, and that they will in turn make an impact on the lives of those around them.

We have had such an awesome time ministering to the children that live in the Barley Court Apartments that after much prayer and discussion we have decided to continue our Sidewalk Sunday School Ministry as a permanent outreach. We felt that God had opened a door for us and that these children were placed into our lives for more than a month.

We ask that you pray with us as we seek God on a weekly basis to find the time and means to continue this ministry. We all felt blessed just to have the opportunity to give.
