The Apartment Amalgamation Ministry of Word of Life Church's goal is to stay true to our name. Amalgamate means to bring diverse elements together into a unified whole. On May 8th of 2004 we began to work on accomplishing that goal. 

 

On that day we went and ministered at Evergreen Square Apartments in Tupelo.  We went back to Evergreen several times and  began to go to other complexes in the area. We did a community outreach for Easter 2005 at Ida Street Park in Tupelo for all the apartments in that area.

 

In August of 2005 we found the complex we feel God intended for us to begin an ongoing ministry with.  Barley Courts Apartment in Verona became our home away from home.  We went back quarterly and later began to go every Saturday.  Management changes at the apartments caused us to have to scale down our ministry work with Barley Courts, but we continued to stay connected with seasonal outreach events there. 

 

Our next scheduled outreach at Barley Court will be a Christmas Party for the children Sunday, November 11th, 2011 at 2 PM.
