As stated before, the goal of the children's department is to ensure that each child obtains a basic understanding of the Bible and a real, personal relationship with Jesus. When they reach the Youth group, we want to activate that knowledge through word, worship, and ministry opportunity. Weekly at Outsiders Unite, we experience the presence of God through the worship led by our own praise band and through the word of God taught in a relative way.

 

 

Outside of church, we have many outings to encourage fellowship and growth. We go skating, bowling, play basketball, etc. Additionally, we take one or two trips a year to amusement parks or youth conventions. More importantly, each outsider has an opportunity to plug into a ministry.

 

We get our name and our mission from Exodus 33:7 where God told Moses to set up the Tent of Meeting outside of the camp. It is our desire to lead the youth of the community outside of their comfort zones into the presence of God.
